The gallery - Page 1
When we first published our article on How to Change the Windows 2000 Boot Logo, we had no idea the article would end up becoming as popular as it has. Since the article has been online, it has been read over a quarter of a million times! The forum thread associated with the article has been read over 83,000 times and has been replied to over 1200 times. With that said, this gallery was created to showcase and share the efforts put forth by a group of very talented individuals.

Submissions
You can submit your boot logo to our gallery one of two ways. You can send a copy of the file via e-mail to BootLogo@littlewhitedog.com, or drop by our forums and post it in this thread. Either way, be sure to let us know what name you want listed as the author of the file.

Using these files on your system
If you would like to use any of these boot logos on your own system, feel free! That's why they're here!! The first thing you will want to do is click on the thumbnail of the image you want to use. Next, right click on the full size image and save the file to your local machine. The image you save will either be a .GIF or .JPG file, with the image size already set to 640x480. Now that you have the file on your local machine you will need to use some form of image editing utility such as Irfanview or Adobe Photoshop to manipulate the file. The file will need to be converted to a .BMP file with a color palette set to exactly 16 colors. If you try making the file any larger than 640x480, or setting the colors higher than 16 you're going to have problems, and will run the risk of causing damage to your system. Once the file has been converted to a 16 color .BMP file, follow the instructions outlined in our updated article which outlines how to change the boot logo no matter which Service Pack you are running.

If you have any problems getting this to work on your system, drop by our forums and post a description of your problem in this thread - we'll be more than happy to help you out!
