Up on a high horse
The M$ folks have released a comparison chart showing what their new XBox Live service is going to offer. Only a few more months, and we'll be able to see if they hold up their end of the deal.

$116 trillion lawsuit filed by 9/11 families
If one of my family members died in the Sept. 11th incident, I'm not sure if I would want to get in on this court case or not. I'm kinda torn about the whole thing. While I'm not saying the people lives that were lost are not worth anything, it's just that I'm not sure what these people hope to accomplish. An example - just because they sue the "Government of Sudan", who is the governing party that is going to make them actually pay? Why does the country of Sudan have to listen to what the U.S. District court has to say? Let me know your thoughts my commenting on this post.
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Acknowledging the odds are against them, relatives of the September 11 attacks filed a 15-count, $116 trillion lawsuit Thursday against the company run by Osama bin Laden's family, Saudi Arabian princes and Sudan.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia by more than 600 family members, plus some firefighters and rescue workers.

Calling themselves Families United to Bankrupt Terrorism, the plaintiffs are suing seven international banks; eight Islamic foundations, charities and their subsidiaries; individual terrorist financiers; the Saudi bin Laden Group; three Saudi princes; and the government of Sudan for allegedly bankrolling the terrorist al Qaeda network, Osama bin Laden and the Taliban.

Going good so far
Not sure why the hell I'm posting this here... but maybe if I tell the world about it, it will give me some additional motivation. I've been a smoker for about 10 years now (currently 31 years old), and figured it's time to finally put those damn things down. I'm using the patch thingies, and they do seem to be helping quite a bit. It's still very early in the game though - only been about 4 and half hours since I smashed my last butt into the ground (and stomped on it a bit for good measure).
